Presentation Description
Presenter: Dayana Romero
Difficult behaviour is often misunderstood. What appears to be conflict may actually be fear, grief, shame, or emotional overwhelm. In this session, we will examine the difference between high-conflict behaviour and high emotional distress, uncover the drivers behind client reactivity, and explore how professionals can better understand and navigate these challenging dynamics during one of life’s most difficult transitions.
Key Takeaways:
Gain a deeper understanding of the emotional drivers behind difficult behaviour.
Recognize when distress, rather than conflict, may be shaping client interactions.
Develop a more nuanced perspective on challenging client dynamics.
Explore the human factors that contribute to escalation and reactivity.
